The Metropolist Wedding in Seattle | Angela + Chris
I had the privilege of capturing Angela and Chris’s beautiful wedding day, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Angela, being a highly detail-oriented person, personally designed the entire wedding, ensuring every element reflected their unique style and vision. From start to finish, this was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
The day began at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, where both Angela and Chris got ready. The energy was palpable, and the excitement was in the air. After getting into their wedding attire, Angela and Chris shared a magical first look at the hotel. It was one of those moments where time seemed to stand still, with a blend of anticipation and love radiating between the two of them.
For their couple portraits, family photos, and wedding party shots, we headed to the nearby Seattle Public Library. This modern architectural gem was the perfect backdrop, with its unique design providing a striking contrast to the elegance of Angela and Chris. The grandeur of the library gave their portraits a sophisticated and timeless feel, something that perfectly matched their vision.
Angela and Chris’s ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception took place at the Metropolist, an industrial-chic venue that was the ideal setting for their big day. The atmosphere was electric, with every detail carefully curated to reflect Angela’s meticulous design and Chris’s easygoing charm. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, and the reception was full of joyful celebration.
One of my favorite moments of the day came during the reception when we stole a quiet moment away from the dance floor. We snuck out to the Seattle waterfront just as the sun was setting, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The sky was painted in shades of gold and pink, and Angela and Chris took full advantage of the romantic light to create some truly stunning sunset photos. It was a perfect way to capture their love story against the beautiful Seattle skyline.
